How The Centre Operates

Initial Assessment is $5.00
A voluntary fee of $5.00 per week is charged regardless of how many sessions you receive. The financial situation of each family is of course taken into consideration.
Sessions may be individual or specialised groups.
The service is managed by a committee, which is elected annually. The committee consists of parents community representatives and is responsible for general administration and overall policy making.
A professional referral to the program is not necessary ie parents, early childhood nurses and paediatricians may refer.
The most important consideration is that the child is causing concern. Early assessment is seen as being essential as any problems is seen as being a cause of developmental delay.
All children enrolled in the program will be provided with an individual home program based on their developmental progress.
